Welcome to our Executive Recruitment microsite and thank you very much for your interest in the roles of Executive Director Quality and Medical Leadership and Director of Innovation and Transformation at Hertfordshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

This is an exciting time for the Trust and we have clear ambitions to become the leading provider of mental health services in the country. We were rated as good at our last CQC inspection and we are confident that our good to great strategy will deliver an outstanding result the next time we are visited by CQC.

We provide health and social care for over 400,000 people with mental ill health, physical ill health and learning disabilities across Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Norfolk and North Essex. We employ nearly 3,000 staff who deliver these services within the community as well inpatient settings. Our work is driven by a very strong set of values. We provide services which make a positive difference to the lives of patients, service users and their carers, underpinned by choice, independence and equality.  We are a strong performer, in a healthy financial position and play a leading role the in the development of ‘A Healthier Future’, the Sustainability and Transformation Plan for Herts and West Essex.

This truly is an inspirational place to work. For the national NHS staff survey we recorded the highest score in mental health and learning disabilities nationally for staff motivation at work for the second year running. We also had the highest score for quality of appraisals and non-mandatory training and development. In September 2014, the Trust appeared in the Health Service Journal's (HSJ) top 100 list of the best places to work in the health service, and our Chief Executive Tom Cahill appears at number 15 in the HSJ’s Top Chief Executives 2017. Tom also chairs the Hertfordshire and West Essex Sustainability and Transformation Plan, putting us a forefront of the transformational change for health and social care for our region.
